Determination of the Physical-Mechanical Characteristics of Non-Cohesive Sub-Grade Layers Stabilized with Fly Ash (Part I)

چکیده

Abstract In the execution of foundation layers and road base it is necessary to reduce costs their construction by using local materials (ballast or crushed stone). some cases, physical-mechanical characteristics do not satisfy conditions for dimensioning structure. Therefore, improve these characteristics, they are stabilized with hydraulic binders (fly ash various mixtures based on lime cement). By binders, aim obtain a speed in execution, increase physico-chemical mechanical aggregates implicitly overall work (Zarojanu, 1976).
